Today is National Girl Scout Day which brings me to my favorite part of this organization... their cookies. My personal favorite Girl Scout cookie is the classic thin mint. So in honor of this national day of recognition, California Fitness presents to you the "Thin Mint Cookie Smoothie".
The ingredients you will need for the "Thin Mint Cookie" smoothie recipe are:
1. Two scoops of the California Fitness Whey Protein Powder in the Dutch Chocolate flavor
2. One drop of peppermint extract
3. 1-2 cups of ice (depending on if you like your smoothies thick)
4. 1-2 cups of milk
5. 1 Date
6. OPTIONAL: Add whipped cream and chocolate syrup
If you want your smoothie to be extra chocolaty, substitute the milk for chocolate milk! The recipe will be just as tasty. I hope you enjoy the recipe, and remember that smoothies make the day go smoothly!
